    PCR (Polymerase chain reaction)
A method for exponentially amplifying the target DNA region by using the fact that DNA dissociates from double-stranded DNA to single-stranded DNA by heating and returns to double-stranded DNA by cooling, binding the target primer to single-stranded DNA as a template, and repeatedly performing DNA synthesis by the transcription reaction of DNA polymerase.

COMMENT

Avoid freezing. Acceptable days are Monday through Friday. In the case of recipients, the cell count may decrease due to chemotherapy, etc., and DNA may not be recovered, so please submit with a minimum cell count of 2 x 105 cells. Please be sure to submit as a recipient/donor pair. Since the affects of contamination are greater in this test method, please collect and handle the specimens with care.
About Requests for Chimerism Analysis Tests
1. Since the pre-transplant results are necessary for the determination of the post-transplant chimerism analysis, the prerequisite for contracting the post-transplant chimerism analysis is that the recipient and donor tests for the pre-transplant chimerism analysis have been contracted.
2. If you request a test for the pre-transplant chimerism analysis, please be sure to indicate on the request form whether or not you have a history of transplantation.
Collect the designated amount, mix well, and preserve refrigerated.
Since the affects of contamination are greater in this test method, please collect and handle the specimens with care.
