Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) A method that uses a next-generation sequencer to simultaneously determine the base sequences of a huge number of DNA fragments. |
|
The purpose of this test is to detectEGFR gene mutations, ALK fusion genes, and BRAF gene V600E mutations using nucleic acids extracted from cancer tissue, and to determine the suitability of drugs for non-small cell lung cancer. We will also report the analysis results, which have not been approved by pharmaceutical regulations, for research purposes only.
The recommended percentage of tumor cells required for testing is 10% or more.
When submitting samples, please follow the detailed sample submission information provided in the ”Cytology Sample Collection and Processing Operation Manual” issued by EIKEN CHEMICAL CO.,LTD.
Please see below for points to note when submitting unstained specimen slides. When submitting unstained specimen slides, please be sure to also submit one HE-stained specimen with the tumor cell area marked.
Please avoid cryopreservation.
Please avoid requests that overlap with other items. This testing method is more susceptible to contamination, so please be careful when handling samples.
●When requesting this test
Please submit the sample according to the sample submission method described in the following document issued by EIKEN CHEMICAL CO.,LTD. for each test material. https://mints.eiken.co.jp/
