Direct sequencing method
A method of directly determining the base sequence using DNA amplified by PCR method as a template.
£We aim to analyze mutations in BRAFV600E in pathology materials. Only pathology materials can be contacted. Please note in advance that since DNA is fragmented by formalin fixation of tissues, analysis of pathology specimens may not be possible depending on the preservation conditions such as the type of fixative solution and fixation time, as well as the preservation period. Please avoid duplicate requests of other items.
About Unstained Specimen Slide Materials
Please note in advance that since DNA is fragmented by formalin fixation of tissues, analysis of unstained specimen slides may not be possible depending on the preservation conditions such as the type of fixative solution and fixation time, as well as the preservation period.
Please prepare an unstained specimen slide, write the section thickness on the front of the slide, place it in the object case shown below, and submit it at room temperature. When requesting BRAF exon15 V600E (SEQ), PIK3CA gene mutation analysis (SEQ), and c-kit gene mutation analysis (GIST) (alone or 2 or 3 items at the same time), please be sure to request them in combination with "Tumor site confirmation test (item code: A9101)."
