COMMENT

Collect urine at the end of the work on a weekend working day. Please note that urine needs to be excreted once 2 hours before collecting a sample.
The measured values are mandelic acid (MA), phenylglyoxylic acid (PGA) and the total value (MA+PGA).
Biological tolerance: 0.43 (g/L) or less. (Biological tolerance is a concentration at which almost all workers are judged to have no adverse health effects.)
The required number of days will vary depending on the number of requests.

産業医学 (有機溶剤、鉛) 関連検査

産業医学関連検査は、有機溶剤作業者、鉛作業者を対象として、体内に有機溶剤や鉛がどの程度取り込まれているかを定期的にチェックすることを主な目的としているため、結果の評価については、正常・異常の鑑別を目的としたものではなく、作業環境を含めた総合的な判断が必要とされています。
また、労働安全衛生法に基づく各中毒予防規則では、各健康診断結果報告書を、所轄の労働基準監督署長に提出することが定められています。

検体取り扱い方法

連続した作業日の初日を除いた作業終了時に採尿してください。ただし、採尿2時間前に一度排尿してください。

Industrial medicine (organic solvents, lead) related test

The main purpose of industrial medicine-related tests is to periodically check the level of organic solvents and lead in the body of those who work with organic solvents and lead, so the evaluation of the results is not intended to differentiate between normal and abnormal conditions, but requires a comprehensive judgment that takes into account the work environment.
In addition, each regulation on prevention of poisoning based on the Industrial Safety and Health Law stipulates that a report on the results of each medical examination must be submitted to the director of the relevant Labour Standards Inspection Office.

Specimen Handling Instructions

Urine should be collected at the end of each workday, except for the first day of consecutive workdays. However, urinate once 2 hours prior to collection.
