The standard value is the cut-off value according to the “Hypertension Treatment Guideline 2019” of the Japanese Society of Hypertension. The concentration ratio of aldosterone is calculated using the RIA conversion ratio.
●Notes on aldosterone/renin concentration ratio
・Blood collection time is recommended before noon.
・We recommend blood collecting after resting for 15 minutes in a sitting position.
・When stored refrigerated, an increase in renin concentration will be observed.
Collect blood into the container shown below, mix well, and separate the plasma. Be sure to store plasma frozen.
