    Real-time PCR
    It is a type of nucleic acid amplification methods based on PCR method as the basic principle, which is a measurement method that, by using oligonucleotides that emit fluorescence when degraded, enables quantitative of target nucleic acids in real time by confirming the fluorescence signals in each PCR cycle.

COMMENT

Acceptable days are Monday to Friday. Please confirm that a malignant tumor has been confirmed before submitting the tissue material. Please avoid duplicate requests with other items. This testing method can be affected by contamination, so please be careful when handling the specimen.
For materials other than tissues for EML4-ALK fusion gene qualitative testing
Approximately 1×107 cells are required for testing. Place the collected pleural fluid, alveolar lavage fluid, and bronchial scraping lavage fluid of 20 mL or more into a designated container (ARR), centrifuge at 1500-3000G (*) for 5 minutes at 2-4°C, be sure to freeze and submit the sediment with as much of the supernatant removed as possible. Please note that if the number of cells in the submitted specimen is less than 1×107 cells, testing may not be possible.
*Calculation formula for centrifuge rotation speed
 G=1.118×10-5×r×n2
 r: Centrifuge rotor radius (cm)
n: Number of revolutions per minute (rpm)
