We aim to analyze mutations in RAS genes (codons 12 and 13 of exon 2, codons 59 and 61 of exon 3, codons 117 and 146 of exon 4 for both KRAS and NRAS genes) in pathology materials. Only pathology materials can be contacted.
●About Unstained Specimen Slide Materials
When submitting slides, please prepare serial sections of a thickness of 10μm from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue blocks in which tumor cells have been confirmed through HE-stained specimens. Please preserve and submit the prepared unstained specimen slides in an object case (Z10) at room temperature. Please note in advance that since DNA is fragmented by formalin fixation of tissues, analysis of pathology specimens may not be possible depending on the preservation conditions such as the type of fixative solution and fixation time, as well as the preservation period. Please avoid duplicate requests of other items.

[6513 7]Notes on RAS Gene Mutation Analysis
It is a prerequisite that the tissue fragments to be provided for this test must have been histopathologically examined, and that the presence of tumor tissue must have been confirmed.
Please note in advance that the number of days required may vary depending on changes in the number of contracts.
Prepare unstained specimen slides as the specimens, preserve and submit in an object case at room temperature .
Unstained specimen slides 10 μm thick (serial sections): 5-10 slides
