FA (Fluorescent antibody method)
Fluorescent antibody method
A method in which an antigen-antibody reaction is performed against the target antigen using an antibody labeled with a fluorescent dye, and the fluorescence intensity is measured under a fluorescence microscope. There is a direct method in which an antibody labeled with a fluorescent dye is reacted directly, and an indirect method in which the antibody is reacted with an antigen and then a secondary reaction is performed with an antibody labeled with a fluorescent dye.
