産業医学関連検査は、有機溶剤作業者、鉛作業者を対象として、体内に有機溶剤や鉛がどの程度取り込まれているかを定期的にチェックすることを主な目的としているため、結果の評価については、正常・異常の鑑別を目的としたものではなく、作業環境を含めた総合的な判断が必要とされています。
また、労働安全衛生法に基づく各中毒予防規則では、各健康診断結果報告書を、所轄の労働基準監督署長に提出することが定められています。

Industrial medicine (organic solvents, lead) related test

The main purpose of industrial medicine-related tests is to periodically check the level of organic solvents and lead in the body of those who work with organic solvents and lead, so the evaluation of the results is not intended to differentiate between normal and abnormal conditions, but requires a comprehensive judgment that takes into account the work environment.
In addition, each regulation on prevention of poisoning based on the Industrial Safety and Health Law stipulates that a report on the results of each medical examination must be submitted to the director of the relevant Labour Standards Inspection Office.

Specimen Handling Instructions

Urine should be collected at the end of each workday, except for the first day of consecutive workdays. However, urinate once 2 hours prior to collection.
