    Flow cytometry
A technique for analysis of individual cells. Cells stained with fluorochrome-labeled monoclonal antibodies are flown in a stream of solution at a high speed and are passed through the laser beam. The cells are individually analyzed by forward scatter (size of the cell), 90° side scatter (internal complexity of the cell), and fluorescence intensity (cell surface expression of the antigen).
Two-color flow cytometry uses a combination of fluorochromes for double staining.

COMMENT

Please collect the bone marrow fluid into a blood collection tube containing EDTA-2Na and submit it at room temperature.
Consignment days are Monday to Friday. Please see below for implementation items. Please avoid duplicate requests with other items.
●About requesting multiple myeloma multiparameter flow cytometry (8color)
1. After collecting the specimen, please submit it on the same day.
2. Collect bone marrow fluid into a blood collection tube containing EDTA-2Na and submit at room temperature.
3. This item allows analysis of more than 10 million white blood cells using 8-color multiparameter flow cytometry for patients with multiple myeloma.
Collect the 2.0mL of bone marrow fluid, mix well in the designated container (PN5 or PN2), and store at room temperature. Please submit the specimen on the same day after collection.
