A method in which an antigen-antibody reaction is performed against the target antigen using an antibody labeled with a fluorescent dye, and the fluorescence intensity is measured under a fluorescence microscope.
There are two methods: a direct method in which an antibody labeled with a fluorescent dye reacts directly with an antigen, and an indirect method in which an antibody labeled with a fluorescent dye reacts with an antigen followed by a secondary reaction of the antibody with a fluorescent dye.
