COMMENT


The purpose of this service is to analyze BRAF gene V600E mutation, EGFR gene mutation, HER2 (ERBB2) gene mutation, ALK fusion gene, ROS1 fusion gene, RET fusion gene, and METex 14 skipping mutation with genomic DNA and RNA extracted from cancer tissue, and to assist in determining whether drugs listed in the separate table are suitable for non-small cell lung cancer patients.
Requests can be accepted from Monday to Friday.
Please submit materials after confirming that they contain tumor tissue. Please avoid duplicate requests for other items. This test method is subject to the effects of contamination. The interference will be greater, so please handle the samples with care when collecting them.
When requesting this test, please be sure to also request the nucleic acid extraction item (item code no: 0M9612).
*About materials other than tissue
Place the collected pleural fluid, alveolar lavage fluid, and bronchial brushing lavage fluid in the designated container (ARR) and centrifuge (760G (2000-3000rpm) x 10 minutes) at room temperature. Remove as much of the supernatant as possible, and be sure to freeze the sediment before submitting it.
*Points to note
Please process the sample immediately after collection. Note that if the cell count in the submitted sample is low, it may not be possible to perform the test.
