How to submit CLDN18 protein (IHC)
1) Since the presence or absence of cancer cells may be unknown, please attach a copy of the pathology diagnosis when requesting the test. (However, this is not necessary if the general pathology test is performed by our company.)
If you are unable to attach the copy for some reason, please write the pathology diagnosis (histological type, etc.) and as much clinical information as possible on the request form.
2) The specimen should be from unstained specimen slides (made from formalin-fixed paraffin blocks) of gastric cancer or esophagogastric junction cancer (primary lesion or metastatic lesion). Please use slides coated with silane or similar, and after slicing, dry overnight at about 40℃ before submitting.
3) Please slice the tissue into 4-5μm thick slices and attach them as close to the center as possible.
4) If you request a paraffin block, the time required to prepare the unstained specimen slides will be delayed, so please check with our sales staff.
