COMMENT

How to submit breast cancer HER2 protein (IHC)4B5
1) Since the presence or absence of cancer cells may be unknown, please attach a copy of the pathological diagnosis when requesting the test. (However, it is not necessary if our company conducts general pathological examinations.) If it is not possible to attach it for various reasons, please include the name of the pathological diagnosis (tissue type, etc.) in the request form, as well as clinical information to the extent possible. Please fill in the form below.
2) The material is an unstained specimen slide (made from a formalin-fixed paraffin block) of breast cancer (primary tumor or metastatic tumor). Please use slides coated with silane, etc., and after slicing, dry overnight at approximately 40℃ before submitting promptly. For high temperature drying, we recommend drying at 60℃ for 30 minutes or less. Avoid leaving it in high temperatures for a long time.
3) We cannot request samples that have been decalcified, as correct results will not be obtained.
4) It is recommended that the fixation time be within 6 to 72 hours using 10% neutral buffered formalin (for biopsy specimens, this will depend on the size of the specimen).
5) Slice the tissue to a thickness of 4μm and attach it as close to the center as possible.
6) If you request paraffin blocks, there will be a delay in the number of days required to prepare the unstained specimen slides, so please check with our sales staff.
