COMMENT

How to Submit BRAF V600E protein (IHC)
1) Since the presence of carcinoma cells may be unknown, please attach a pathology report (copy) at the time of test request. (However, this is not required if a general pathology test is conducted by our company.) If for some reason you are unable to attach this information, please provide the name of the pathology diagnosis (tissue type, etc.) and clinical information to the extent possible in the request form.
2) Materials shall be unstained specimen slides (prepared from formalin-fixed paraffin blocks) of colorectal carcinoma. Please use slides coated with silane, etc., and after slicing, please dry at approximately 40°C overnight before submitting them.
3) Tissue should be thinly sliced to a thickness of 4 μm and attached to the center of the tissue to the extent possible.
4) If you request with paraffin blocks, please confirm with our sales staff as the required time will be delayed for the preparation of unstained specimen slides.
5) For tissue fixation, 10% neutral buffered formalin is recommended.
