It is a type of nucleic acid amplification methods based on PCR method as the basic principle, which is a measurement method that, by using oligonucleotides that emit fluorescence when degraded, enables quantitative of target nucleic acids in real time by confirming the fluorescence signals in each PCR cycle.
COMMENT
Early invasive breast cancer (lymph node metastasis negative, micrometastases or 1 to 3 lymph node metastases) that is hormon receptor positive and HER2 negative is targeted.
Please avoid duplicate requests with other items.
This testing method can be more affected by contamination, so please be careful when collecting and handling the specimen.
The required number of days may vary depending on the measurement and analysis situation.
●Notes when submitting
・To make a request, you will need to register for an account, enter your request and receive the report through a dedicated portal.
・Please be sure to package the specimen in a dedicated kit box (OncotypeDX Kit Box) and a dedicated object case (5 sheets per case x 3 cases) before submitting. If it is not packaged in the dedicated kit, you cannot request it.
・Once submitted, the specimen cannot be returned.
・For infiltrated tumors with a diameter of 2 mm or more, or discontinous tumors, 5% or more tumor cells in the entire section are required.
・You cannot request microinvasive cancer (1 mm or less). Additionally, test results may not be available for tumors with an infiltration diameter of 2 mm or less.
・Cut serial tissue sections of 5 μm thickness from the FFPE block and prepare 15 unstained slides. When thinly slicing, please be careful about contamination by changing the microtome blade for each sample, etc.
・For unstained specimen slides, please use a coating slide such as silane.
・Unstained slides should be kept at room temperature, avoiding heating for stretching and drying.
・Please be sure to write the specimen management number (arbitrary alphanumeric characters) assigned at your facility on the unstained slide. Please enter the same specimen management number on all slides.
・Please be sure to write the sequence number from 1 to 15 on the slide according to the order in which you sliced it.
・Please attach the barcode packed in the OncotypeDX Kit

未染色標本スライド作製手順
- 最も代表的な腫瘍ブロックを選出ください。
- 厚さ5μmのRNA抽出用の組織切片を15枚薄切ください。
- 組織切片は、拾いの際に向きを統一ください。
- 拾った後、切片は自然乾燥させ、パラフィン溶融は避けてください。
- スライドにご施設での検体管理番号 (任意の英数字) を必ずご記入ください。 ※検体管理番号はご施設で付番ください。スライドには同一の検体管理番号をご記入ください。
- 薄切した順番に従い、スライドに1～15のシーケンス番号を必ずご記入ください。
- OncotypeDX Kit Boxに添付されているバーコードを各スライドに貼付ください。
※標本作製にあたっては、コンタミネーションを避けるため、以下にご注意ください。
- 症例ごとにミクロトームの刃の新しい部位 (または新しい刃) を使用してください。
- 切片の拾いの際は、清潔な水をご使用ください。
- 薄切の際は、素手での操作は避け、使い捨ての手袋等をご使用ください。
